Adult Sunday School

(Elevator is available for upstairs classrooms)

ABC – Absolute Basics Class

This class is designed to welcome new members to the church and those desiring to build a firm foundation for their spiritual journey by sticking to the basic teachings and answering common questions about Christianity, Wesleyan/ Methodist theology, and the Bible. Because this class is not a traditional “new member class,” anyone can join at any time even if you’ve been practicing Christianity for a long time and just need a refresher on the basics. We meet in the Ruble Classroom (at the end of the Childcare hall), led by Pastor Stephen Bazan.

Friendship Class

This group of caring, middle-aged adults meets to study and draw life-changing applications from the Bible. We usually pick a book of the Bible and work our way through it each Sunday. Discussion is encouraged and often lively! Our focus is to grow in our love of the Lord and our love for others. Leaders are Will and Beth Page, Cherri Howdy and Judy Peede. The classroom is upstairs at the end of the hall in the Education building. Our class is involved in supporting House of Hope in Nicaragua, Purpose of God and other ministries that come to our attention. We also have periodic covered dish dinners to enjoy fellowship time together! Come join us and become part of our wonderful family!

JOY Class: Jesus Others Yourself

We are an adult interactive discussion class using a variety of study guide resources to lead in a Wesleyan way to a richer understanding of God’s Word. The International Study series, RightNow Media and Seedbed programs provide materials facilitated by volunteer members of the class. Our commitment is to learn and share a faith-based understanding of the value of Scripture, prayer, sacraments, and the power of salvation. We meet in Asbury Conference Room adjacent to the Wesley Hall kitchen at 10:15 a.m. every Sunday. Jesus and others first; join us to worship passionately, love extravagantly and witness boldly.
