The Scouts will hold their Spring BBQ Chicken Dinner fundraiser on Wednesday, May 7, at 5:30 p.m. during the normal time of our Wednesday Night Dinners.  The tickets are $10.00 each for FMC members and must be purchased from Dale Peele.  Please see Dale or contact her for your tickets.  The chicken is delicious, and you don’t want to miss it!!!

On Easter morning, April 20, we will transform the Living Cross by placing flowers and greenery on the cross at the beginning of each service. We encourage you to bring flowers and greenery as we celebrate the risen Christ.

Only one more Sunday until The Yard Sale prep begins  next Sunday, April 27.  We will start unloading those priceless treasures you have been purging. “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”  Hopefully you have cleared your calendars for that week because lots of volunteers are needed from Sunday, April 27 thru Saturday, May 3.  There is a job for everyone as we sort, organize, and price all these treasures.  What a great opportunity to work with and get to know other church family members.  Thank you in advance for volunteering.  The two storage trailers in the parking lot are for drop offs and the office will have a key.  Furniture and large items can be dropped off at a storage unit in Chocowinity.  Just call Ron Branch (828-719-8803) or George Isovitsch

With Easter, Spring Break and the yard sale, no meals will be prepared on April 23 and April 30.  We will resume on May 7 with the Scout’s Fundraiser.

Pick up a Membership Companion Booklet outside the Sanctuary on the table or outside Wesley Hall at the Welcome Center.  Learn how you can be the “Hands and Feet” of Jesus.

Everyone is invited to join us on May 4 for a church family picnic at 4:00 p.m. at the home of Paige and Laura Davis on 105 Southeast Avenue, Washington.  The picnic will be filled with fun games, food and fellowship!  We will provide Hotdogs and Hamburgers.  We ask your family to bring a side, drink or dessert to share.  Make sure to bring a chair or towel to sit on!  Please sign up using the link provided https://shorturl.at/iLAl8  and to let us know what you will be bringing!  Contact Sarah Beth with any questions!
