In support of Caden Perry of Troop 99 with his Eagle Scout Project Fundraiser, please stop by on Saturday, May 24, from 8:00 a.m. through noon at the First Methodist Church Washington parking lot, 304 West Second Street.  The car wash project will raise money to improve the Old Ford Volunteer Fire Department.  Donations are accepted.

As you may be aware, our Financial Administrator, Lisa Capehart, will be leaving us at the end of May, as she embarks on the adventure of retirement. We are deeply grateful to Lisa for her years of ministry among us and pray God’s blessings upon Lisa as she enters this new season in her life.

The Four First Churches in Washington will combine their choirs to perform a Community Concert on Sunday, June 1.  This will be held at First Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m.  The concert is made possible by the generous Endowment for Hannah Bagwell from First Christian Church.

Please join us today, May 18, from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall as we gather for the exciting Mission Project RISE AGAINST HUNGER.  We encourage all members and families with children ages 5 and up and friends to come and share the excitement of serving others and our Lord.  You will not want to miss this event.
