With Spring Break and the yard sale, no meal will be served on April 30.  We will resume on May 14.  The menu will include Chicken Salad, Potato Salad, Mixed Vegetable Salad, Rolls, and Dessert with tea and/or water.

We are setting up in Wesley Hall and would appreciate your help after both services.  Monday-Thursday, help is needed from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for deliveries, set up, sort, arrange and price items.  Then your help is needed for the following sales:  Thursday Early Evening Sale (from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday Sale is from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday Sale is  from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.  When the sales are over, we will prepare Wesley Hall for our Sunday Services.  Thank you all in advance for your service and dedication.  Your Missions Team

This is a great opportunity for you to serve and support the missions of our church.  It will be a week of fun, fellowship and devotion.  We will have a task for everyone.  Please pray for safety and the opportunity to share Jesus.

Starting April 30, our children will be learning how to Be Church with Lego Lessons!  We’ll be building the Notre Dame Cathedral out of Legos while learning how we’re all integral parts of the Body of Christ.  We’ll be working on this project for the next six weeks on Wednesday nights at 6:15 p.m.!  Questions?  Contact Leslie Keely at 252-945-1222.

The North Carolina Global Methodist Church will host a Bible Study on the book of James starting Monday, May 5, at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom.  Young Adults (ages 18-38) are encouraged to sign up online and join with others all across North Carolina.  It will be a time of learning and growing but also fellowship with others in the same stage of life as you!  If you have questions, contact Sarah Beth Wood.  Watch a video clip about the study.

We will be celebrating Graduation on Sunday, June 8, at both services with a brunch in the Fellowship Hall between services.  Please send (1) the graduates name as you would like it printed in the bulletin and newsletter, (2) from where they are graduating and (3) what are their next steps.  We will also need a head count of how many will be attending the brunch, and preferably which service they plan to attend.  Please send in the information by May 17.  Contact:  Leslie Keely.  lkeely@fmcwashington.com or call 252-945-1222.
